Attraction Marketing is a free way to get network marketing leads. There are many methods and tactics you can use to find and harness these MLM leads and we have already gone over one in the previous post. This post is going into some detail about using forums to your advantage.
First, from day one that you join a forum such as TheNetworkMarketingForum.com or WAHM.com, do not sound like a “newbie”. We always encourage honesty here, and forums can be a wealth of information to learn the basics of business building, but if you are using a forum to learn these basics, then do not use these same forums to try and find recruits.
To attract network marketing prospects, you have to sound successful. Before you tell us that you are not yet successful in MLM, take a step back and reexamine. When you are on a forum you want to come across as friendly, confident, and successful. You do not want to be condescending, know-it-allish, or self-defeating.
Here is a couple of quick examples:
“Well, I just signed up two weeks ago and am so excited to be in network marketing! There is so much to learn that it is hard not to get bummed out. I also hate calling MLM leads!…..”
Or,
“I can’t believe you think calling your warm market works! I have tried it and all I ended up doing is wasting my time….”
Or,
“So this is my second business that I have tried, maybe I can make it work this time…..”
Would YOU want to sign up under any of these people? No. You have to be positive. Honest, but positive. You do not have to act like you know it all, you can be open to suggestions and offer yours, but you have to sound successful to attract others into your business. To sound successful all you have to have is a plan that you work out with your upline. Know the road you are on and how you are going to get there from here and you will come across as successful! Sweet and simple.
Another quality you need to have on forums is a supportive one. Don’t say: “my business would be great for you”, instead say, “have you ever thought about a home business? What didn’t you like? What would you want to be different?” Ask open-ended questions to get conversation going and establish a relationship. Before you know it, you will be able to develop rapport and a technique that will work to attract you some quality MLM leads.

Interesting blog. MLM is such a dirty word, huh? We all want leads and want them to be qualified. Attraction marketing is just another way of saying using web 2.0 tactics isn’t it? Mlm leads are hard to find though, I call so many all the time that say they don’t kno how I got there number.
